Looks really great for the price, and the sound samples on the site are really convincing. I can't wait to start playing with it, it's downloading as we speak. I'm really pumped to work with more expressive sounding instruments through the use of natural sounding swells, legatos, etc. I'm particularly interesting in the close mic'ed intimate solo instruments.
Anyone else use this? Specifically the newest version based on their new ARIA engine? Thoughts? I'm kind of skeptical about this library at only 2 gb, but it seems to have a lot of praise so I thought i'd give it a go.

I never actually tried it, but from what I hear, it's one of the best VST's around. I doubt you'll be disappointed.

When I first installed it and started demoing sounds I was pretty disappointed thinking they sounded awfully synthy, however, after spending some time to learn the program I realized that GPO basically requires you to control dynamics and overall ambience on your own. Once you configure the instruments correctly and work with the mod wheel / vib control it's actually pretty convincing sounding. It requires more work than other vst's i've used, but the end result is more realistic sounding to my ears. Check out my new piece entitled Quiet Journey to hear the vst in action if you're interested. In particular the violins and woodwinds are rather nice sounding.
